Bell and Alcatel have come together and launched two new Android smartphones today. The flagship One Touch Idol X and OneTouch Idol mini are both incredibly well priced: as expected, the Idol X will be $249.95 and the Idol mini will be $149.95 off contract.
As for specs, the Idol X runs Android OS 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, has a 5-inch 1080p IPS ‘edge-to-edge’ display, a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, a 2000mAh non-removable battery, HSPA+ connectivity (without LTE) with overall dimensions of 140.4 x 67.5 x 6.9mm and weighs 140 grams.
The OneTouch Idol mini has a 4.3-inch IPS display, 5MP camera, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 1700mAh non-removable battery, runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is hooked onto their HSPA+ network.
