We’ve seen it before, but the upcoming Google Play Store refresh is looking increasingly tantalizing. In a screenshot leaked by Google’s own Eileen Rivera we see for the first time the Play Store’s front page, which looks much cleaner than the current version.
It appears that the categories are still the same, and shows the Store’s emphasis on games as it continues to be separated from apps in Google’s mind. While it’s not certain whether this refresh will introduce any new features or will merely be a visual refresh, it’s more than likely we’ll be seeing it in the coming weeks — at least before Google I/O in May.
What do you think? Better than the current look and feel?
