Sony is announcing today a partnership with a number of well-known accessory manufacturers to bring cases to its expanding Xperia line. The idea is simple: Sony doesn’t make phone accessories because they are investing in great hardware. So instead of trying to beat ’em at their own game, Sony is teaming up with companies such as CaseMate, AGF, Incipio, Krusell, Dicota, Copter,Muvit, Roxfit, Orbyx and Shinnorie.
According to the company blog, these companies will begin announcing availability in the coming days and weeks, though it’s not sure whether they will be available in Canada for direct purchase. We’ll certainly try to get our hands on some of the more popular ones to review.
