Calgary-based Poynt has added a new feature to their location-based app: GasBuddy is now available. Now, via the GPS on your device, you can find the closest gas station and the cheapest gas prices. Poynt states that gas stations will show up on your map and users can click on the “Best 5” button to see the 5 cheapest gas prices in your area. Poynt app is free and available for the iPhone, Android devices, Windows Phone, BlackBerry smartphones, BlackBerry Playbook tablet, and Nokia Symbian devices.
