The CWTA (Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association) has release more stats when it comes to text messaging in Canada. They state that in the first quarter of 2010 there were over 12.1 billion person-to-person text messages exchanged. In addition, in March the total amount of text messages hit 4.2 billion… which is a staggering 135.4 million messages per day.
So with over 21 million wireless subscribers in Canada this says that on average each Canadian sends about 200 texts per month, or about 7 per day.
