Pie chart of Apple’s 65,000 available Apps

After Apple announced earlier this week they crossed the 1.5 billion app download mark and also reached 65,000 available apps, website 148Apps.biz has put together an ongoing count of Apps that are in Apple’s AppStore.

They say the top apps people download are from the following categories: Games with 10,619 apps; Entertainment with 8,183 apps; Books with 7,771 apps; Utilities with 4,175 apps and Education with 3,802 apps.
