The Google Pixel 9 is on sale at several Canadian carriers right now, though only a couple have actually launched Black Friday offers. As usual, Freedom appears to have the best offer once you factor in the cost of your monthly plan, but read on to see what everyone is offering:
The Big Three are offering nearly-free Pixel 9 phones, as long as you’re willing to give the device back after two years.
Telus and Rogers both have the Pixel 9 available for $0 down and $0/mo financing, while Bell has it for $1/mo financing.
At Telus, the cheapest plan you can get with the Pixel 9 deal is the $80/100GB 5G+ Essential plan. However, you can knock the price down to $75/mo with a $5 autopay discount. You can check out Telus’ offer here.
With Rogers, the cheapest plan option is $75/100GB 5G (after a $10/mo autopay discount). You can find the Pixel 9 with Rogers here.
Finally, Bell’s deal is arguably the worst since you still have to pay for the phone, even if it is just $1/mo. However, it has the same base $75/100GB plan option as Rogers and Telus. Bell’s Pixel 9 deal is available here.
While the $0 down, $0/mo deals are enticing, it’s worth looking elsewhere too. For example, the flanker brands — Koodo, Fido and Virgin — all charge around $15/mo for the Pixel 9 right now, but have cheaper plans starting around $50/mo for about $65/mo total spend after discounts, though the plans don’t have 5G or as much data as the Big Three options.
And Freedom Mobile, as usual, has one of the best offers with $0/down and $4/mo MyTab for the Pixel 9 on a minimum $45/mo plan for a total $49/mo after discounts with its 75GB 5G plan.
