RIM sings to the developer community: “We’re Going To Keep On Loving You”

RIM is holding their BlackBerry Jam conference in San Jose and they are busy showing off new features of the upcoming BlackBerry 10 OS. CEO Thorsten Heins stated that everything “is on track” for it’s release early 2013, and that carrier testing in October. Still no details on who the carriers are, but most likely the two BB10 devices will hit every Canadian carrier.

There’s lots of excitement around BlackBerry 10, specifically for the developer community. First, RIM announced today that the App World has over 105,000 apps, but for the BB10 they’ll release a new App World that will feature high profile apps and a new “trending” section. However, nothing gets the vibe going like a good video by the Developer Relations Team. Alec Saunders and Co. stated that “This video is a thank you to all developers supporting the BlackBerry platform. Your Developer Relations, Alliance and Developer Tools teams appreciate your enthusiasm and loyalty! We’re Going To Keep On Loving You.”
