Tegra 3 Plus-powered HTC One X+ with LTE could come to Canada on Rogers, Bell or Telus

The upcoming HTC One X+, which is expected to be announced next week at an event in New York, is powered by the Tegra 3 Plus SoC. The quad-core Nvidia chip is clocked at 1.6Ghz when all four cores are used and 1.7Ghz when in single-core mode.

According to a document released submitted to the FCC, the device with a model number PM63100, is capable of connecting to AT&T’s LTE network on LTE band 17 and band 4, making it compatible with all of Canada’s LTE networks. This doesn’t mean that it is necessarily coming to Canada, but a quad-core device with LTE capabilities could be a huge sell, even if it looks the same as the dual-core Snapdragon version that was released earlier this year.

We’ll keep you posted, as we’ll be in New York next week for HTC’s big day!
