WIND Mobile now showing Barrie as a Home Zone, here’s the coverage map

WIND has big plans to expand their coverage this year. Some of the known locations for customers to call a WIND Home Zone are Windsor, Barrie, Peterborough, Kingston, Belleville, Victoria, Halifax, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina. Most of them will be live mid-year, but it seems that Barrie has quietly become a home zone. I’m honestly not sure when this happened, but their coverage map says they are live. Unfortunately there no stores to purchase a device/plan, so we’re not sure if they are handing our area code 705 numbers yet. In the meantime you can check out the coverage map above.
