Rogers is attempting to draw in new internet customers by slashing prices on its three top-tier unlimited plans.
The carrier’s Gigabit internet plan promo offers the biggest savings of the three. The plan is now $74.99 for the first 12 months, a $70 reduction from its regular $144.99 monthly cost.
Meanwhile, the Ignite 500u plan, which offers 500Mbps download speeds and 20Mbps upload speeds, is $69.99 for 12 months. That’s down from a regular price of $119.99. The Ignite 150u plan features 150Mbps download speeds and 15Mbps upload speeds and is now $79.99 for 12 months, from $99.
The deal is on offer for new customers only, though some users on Red Flag Deals note they’ve had success getting the promotion as existing customers through customer relations.
As part of the promotion, Rogers is waiving the $50 installation fee for new customers, though the $14.95 one-time activation fee remains.
The offer is available until December 31st in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
