Facebook Messenger AI ‘M’ will eventually roll out to other countries

Facebook Messenger AI

Facebook Messenger’s AI called “M,” originally announced back in 2015, is now officially rolling out to all of the social network’s users in the United States.

Unfortunately M is not available in Canada currently, though Facebook says the assistant “will eventually roll out to other countries,” which means the assistant is likely to make its way north of the U.S. border. Unfortunately we don’t have a specific release date for M’s release.

M gives suggestions by popping into open conversation, offering stickers, locations, polls and the ability to send or request money, as well as a variety of other features.

When M becomes available in Canada, the assistant is easy to start up. Just start a conversation and if M wants to make a suggestion the assistant’s logo instantly appears.
