Samsung Galaxy Note 7 iris scanning technology photos leaked

Though the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is not projected to be revealed until August 2nd, some of its features have been brought to light.

One of the device’s most highly anticipated features is its supposed iris scanner. As Samsung news website SamMobile reports, the Note 7’s iris scanner apparently authenticates users faster than a fingerprint scanner.

The user apparently needs to place the device at arm’s length from their face with the screen facing them and to align their eyes with the two circles that appear on the smartphone display in order to use the iris scanner.
