teluswm

A new trademark filing by Telus reveals that Canada’s second largest wireless carrier could be set to unveil a new program for its 8,387,000 wireless subscribers.

Submitted on May 6th, the description of “Telus Device Checkup” states it will provide “technical support services in the form of troubleshooting and diagnostics of mobile phones and tablets.” Unfortunately, there are other details and we’ve reached out to Telus for comment.

The Device Checkup could be an enhancement to its already existing Learning Centre service, which gives customers education on how to effectively use their smartphone or tablet.

Telus recently announced its Q1 2016 results and  reported wireless operating revenues of $1.716 billion, up 1.8 percent during the same period last year.
