Google now let users save image search results

Google Image Saving

It’s now possible to save image search results found through Google.

Currently only available on mobile devices, and then only those with access to either Chrome or Safari, this new feature allows users to make Pinterest-like collections out of image search results. When you conduct an image search and click on one of the results, you’ll see a new star icon below the actual image. Tapping this icon will save the result to a new website Google has set up at google.com/save.

For the time being, it appears this feature is not available on Google’s Canadian subdomain. However, this restriction is easy enough to sidestep: simply navigate to images.google.com and conduct any searches you want to do from there.

Note that any images you save won’t be stored on your mobile device.
