BlackBerry Classic to be released in Bronze and Blue

BlackBerry added the Classic to its lineup yesterday and CEO John Chen showcased a number of high profile celebs and politicians still loyal to the brand. At one point in time it was rumoured that Drake would be the official spokesperson for the Classic, but he was missing from the enterprise-focused event. Chen noted, “By bringing back the trusted functionalities, incorporating our latest operating system and building a speedier browser, our users can feel confident they are using the best communications tool out there.”

The Classic is available at Rogers, Bell, Virgin, SaskTel, and is coming soon to TELUS and WIND Mobile. While it’s only available in black, Chen noted in a Q&A session with media yesterday that white, bronze and blue variants are all in the works. Unfortunately, there is no indication as to when they are going to be released.
