New video game concert heading to Canada with Silent Hill composer

Heroes: A Video Game Symphony will play in Toronto and Montreal, with Silent Hill maestro Akira Yamaoka attending the former show

Heroes: A Video Game Symphony

A new video game concert is coming to Toronto and Montreal next year. It’s called Heroes: A Video Game Symphony, and it’s produced by JMP Entertainment, the company behind The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses gaming concert, as well as National Geographic’s Symphony for our World.

Heroes: A Video Game Symphony will feature music from a wide variety of titles, including Metal Gear SolidHaloPortalFalloutCastlevania and Canadian-made series Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Akira Yamaoka, the acclaimed composer of the Silent Hill series, will also be in attendance at the Toronto show and take part in paid meet and greets.

The Montreal show takes place on May 20, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Place des Arts. The Toronto show will be held on September 17, 2026, at Sobeys Stadium.

This is the latest in an ever-growing lineup of video game concerts in Canada. In recent years, we’ve seen the likes of Final Fantasy VIISonic the Hedgehog and Stardew Valley shows being held here, as well as shows featuring music from all kinds of titles, like Game On! There are also a few other concerts confirmed for next year, including the next iteration of Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy in January and Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony in March.
