Wondering what to watch on streaming?
Every week, MobileSyrup outlines some of the most notable new movies and TV shows. After witness an accident, a family man becomes obsessed with saving car crash victims near his home.
Sharp Corner was written and directed by Halifax’s Jason Buxton (Blackbird) and stars Ben Foster (Hell or Highwater, Vancouver’s Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and William Kosovic (The Fall of the House of Usher). It’s worth noting that the film was shot in the Halifax area.

Based on Lawrence Osborne’s novel of the same name, Ballad of a Small Player was directed by Edward Berger (Conclave) and stars Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin), Fala Chen (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton), Deanie Ip (A Smple Life) and Alex Jennings (Victoria).

Nightmares of Nature: Lost in the Jungle [Netflix Original]

Narrated by Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), this docuseries dives into the darker sides of nature.

The Witcher (Season 4) [Netflix Original]

Genre: Fantasy drama

Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war, leading them to encounter unexpected allies on their journeys to reunite.
Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher novels, The Witcher was created by Lauren S. Hissrich (Marvel’s The Defenders) and stars Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) as Geralt (replacing Henry Cavill), Anya Chalotra (The ABC Murders) and Freya Allan (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes), with Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix) joining the cast this season.
