Disney has confirmed that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will begin streaming on Disney+ worldwide on November 5, just over three months after its July 25 theatrical debut.
Notably, this conveniently falls immediately after the streaming service’s November 4 price increase takes effect. On that day, the cost will go up for monthly subscribers by as much as $3 depending on the subscription tier, while annual members will start getting charged the higher prices on November 25.
Directed by Matt Shakman, the acclaimed superhero film follows Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they fight to protect their world from the planet-consuming Galactus (Ralph Ineson). It’s also worth noting that the superhero team will play a major role in next year’s Avengers: Doomsday.
The Fantastic Four: The First Steps is Marvel’s third film this year, following the poorly received Captain America: Brave New World and much more well-regarded Thunderbolts. Both films are now streaming on Disney+.
