If you need even more data, there's another plan with 150GB as well

Freedom Mobile has launched its back-to-school deals that include five new mobile data plans.

The first plan is not really worth getting since it is 5GB for $29. This plan is really only for people who don’t really use mobile data. That said, the 5GB that’s included does have free North American roaming across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

The next plan is $49 per month and comes with 100GB of Canada/U.S/Mexico data. It also includes 15GB to use in 120 countries internationally.

Following that, the third plan has a few more perks. It costs $59 per month and has 150GB of data that you can use in Canada/U.S./Mexico. On top of this there’s no $45 connection fee in stores and you get 25GB of international roaming data. This plan also gives you 5GB of data per month to use on a tablet or smartwatch.

The fourth plan has all the same perks as the previous but it costs $69 and includes 200GB of Canada/U.S./Mexico data and 30GB of international roaming data.

The final plan is similarly expensive and offers more perks and data than most people will be able to take advantage of. This option costs $79 per month and includes 250GB of data that can be used in Canada/U.S./Mexico. It also comes with 35GB of international data and the same tablet/smartwatch add-on for free.

Overall, none of these plans are bad, but I would warrant most people against them. Freedom’s basic plan is only $39 per month and includes 60GB of data that you can use all over North America too. Personally I have an older version of this plan with 40GB of data and I never go over my limit. So unless you know you will use over 60GB every single month, I’m not sure the more expensive plans are worth it for most, especially students.
