Where to stream animated Transformers titles after Transformers One

Celebrate the first theatrical animated Transformers movie in nearly 40 years with some other of the franchise's other animation

The Transformers series Optimus

An animated Transformers movie has hit the big screen for the first time since 1986’s The Transformers: The Movie.

Transformers One, directed by Toy Story 4‘s Josh Cooley, depicts the early relationship of Optimus Prime and Megatron that would forever change the fate of Cybertron.

Of course, any conversation about animated Transformers wouldn’t be complete without Beasties: Transformers (also known as Beast Wars: Transformers outside of Canada). Set in the future of the “original” Transformers franchise, Beasties chronicles the war between the Maximals and Predacons, descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons. Produced by Vancouver’s own Mainframe Entertainment, the series ran for three seasons and is regarded as one of (if not the) best Transformers series.

Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to watch Beasties: Transformers — the entire series is available for free on both YouTube and Tubi. Both have ads-enabled, although YouTube Premium (starting at $13.99/month) is available to remove them from the former platform.

It should be noted that the aforementioned The Transformers: The Movie sadly isn’t streaming anywhere, otherwise we’d include that here as well. However, the original The Transformers series, which debuted Montreal’s own Peter Cullen as Optimus and Frank Welker as Megatron, is thankfully more accessible. Like Beasties, that entire classic show is streaming for free on Tubi.

As well, the 2010s series Transformers Prime is quite well-regarded, and that’s also on Tubi. However, only the second and third seasons are on the platform; the first is sadly missing.

Those are three of the highlights, but it should be noted that many other animated Transformers shows are on Tubi as well, including Transformers AnimatedArmada and Cybertron.
