Twitter Sports Canada and the Toronto Raptors have rolled out a new #WeTheNorth emoji for the 2016-2017 season. The new emoji features the famous red raptor barring his teeth in profile.
To add it to a tweet, users simply have to hashtag #WeTheNorth.

Toronto isn’t alone in getting a hashtag emoji — in fact, all 30 teams in the NBA were assigned them.

Last season in February 2016, NBA All-Stars and Toronto players DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry got their own hashtag emojis alongside other notable players such as Chris Bosh, Steph Curry and LeBron James.
