Not long ago Rogers released its heftily discounted student Internet and TV plans, and now it has followed up with a collection of back-to-school wireless offerings, available in all provinces and territories across Canada.
There are five offers in total, with the most intriguing being a data deal that gives customers with Share Everything plans of 5GB or more the opportunity to add 2GB of data to their plan for an extra $5 per month. This means a line with 5GB, priced at $105, would be able to up their data bucket to 7GB for $110, a $10 reduction from the regular 7GB price of $120.
A more hardware-focused deal offers the LG G4 and G5 at $0.05 down each on a Share Everything Smart Tab and Share Everything Premium+ Tab respectively. Previous to the offer, the LG G5 was $99.99 and the LG G4 was $49.99 on the same plans.
For customers considering adding a line to their Share Everything account, this might be a good time to do it. One back to school offer gives customers a savings of $10 per month for a two-year term on new lines added to their plan.
Customers can also get an LG G Pad III 8.0 on Rogers’ Easy Pay installment plan for $0 down plus taxes in full, to be paid out in increments of $10 per month over two years. Add the $10 service plan to that and it comes in at $20 a month.
Lastly, Rogers has cut the cost of a wireless home phone in half for customers with Share Everything+ plans with 7GB of data or more to $5 for 12 months. The purchase of a wireless home phone device is still required at $39.99.
