A rumour surfaced last month that HTC would be releasing a follow-up to the One V, which design wise was a follow-up to the Legend. The codename for this upcoming device is called the Proto and The Verge has posted of picture of it online. The device will probably run Android and certainly looks like it’ll be aimed at the entry-level market. Rumoured specs of the Pronto are that it’ll come with a 4-inch WVGA display (resolution of 800×480), 1Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, Beats Audio, 9.62mm thin, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and a 5MP camera.
There are no details of the official go-to-market name, release date, or global availability.
