Sony must be happy to see the amount of interest in their recent “Fast Forward” social campaign. This is the Facebook focused initiative that gets users to vote on when the next Xperia device will be announced – possibly the Sony ST21i “Tapioca.” When they opened it up yesterday the original date was set for June 22nd, but the countdown timer is clocking at an incredible rate, currently adding hundreds of “Facebook Likes” every minute… so it looks like we’ll see Sony make the next official Xperia announcement tomorrow, or Thursday at the latest.
Update: Well, this confirms it. Sony will officially unveil the “next Xperia” tomorrow. The countdown clock, as of 8:26pm, shows 11 hours to go.
