Apple has continuously defied the lackadaisical nature of the worldwide economy, posting record profits and huge market capitalization. Today, it was discovered that Apple’s iPhone division alone is worth more than Microsoft in its entirety (over $260 billion), and the company is now the most valuable company, ever.
A little closer to home, Apple’s retail stores are also seeing huge spikes in clients. Its 375+ stores have had over 300 million visits since fiscal year 2012, which started in October 2011. The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple, a fellow Canadian, was told by Apple that the Halifax location has 125 customer service representatives on hand at any time.
Finally, one mind-blowing statistic: the company receives 50,000 Genius appointments every day around the world, repairing everything from iPhones to MacBooks.
