Samsung Wave now available at Bell for $299.95

We’ve got to hand it to Bell as they actually have come in with some good pricing. The Samsung Wave is now available and Rogers and released this today for $99.99 on a 3-year and $474.99 on no-contract. However, Bell has come in at the promo price of $29.95 on a 3-year; $149.95 on a 2-year; $249.95 for 1-year and an actual affordable $299.95 no-contract.

Think about it… Bell no contract price for the same device that Rogers has is $175 cheaper.

  1. The price difference between Bell and Rogers goes to show you how much customers are suckered into shelling out money. That Rogers price is totally unjustifiable. Shame on them.

  7. We might actually see a price inrease, a good example is the Nokia 2730, It started off at 49.99 then now its at 89.99 and no it was not on sale, This price MAY increase.

  9. @Faisal

The Nokia 2730 was never $49.95. Maybe on prepaid but not regular price.

It started at $149.95 and is now $119.95.

Bell’s device prices are getting cheaper with every one they release.

The Dext and the Legend are only $399.95.

  10. The difference is easy to explain. Bell is pricing it according to the price point suggested by Samsung. Rogers is pricing it according to specs vs. their current portfolio.

  11. @Guillaume

I guess we should be thankful that Rogers is not comparing it to the now rather old HTC Magic which is still being sold for $550/$600 (no contract/no term), as it was on day one.

Course if you’re going to spend that kind of money then one can pick up a Nexus One for $530 USD (plus $30 shipping).

  14. The phone is also $99.95 without data @ Bell w/ 3yr, so if you’re in the market for a non-data phone, you should consider the Wave instead. It’s suuuuuper fast :)
