Asus monstrous dual-screen gaming laptop, the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Zephyrus Duo, is finally here — if you can find — and afford — it.
The $5,500 gaming laptop combines the best of Asus’ Zephyrus gaming line with its excellent Duo dual-screen laptop design. We’ve tested both of these extensively at MobileSyrup, but seeing the two form factors come together into one device is pretty exciting overall.
Yup, you read it right. The Zephyrus Duo has two screens in a laptop form factor, with the second screen taking the place of the laptop’s keyboard. The Duo also comes with a wireless keyboard/trackpad combo that conveniently docks over the lower screen for charging and storage, as well as a built-in kick stand.
With those two pieces together, the Zephyrus Duo can operate in a variety of configurations, such as a traditional laptop with the keyboard docked, or with the keyboard detached and both screens available. Asus even showed off using the Duo in a ‘tent’ mode with two users, so each gets their own screen.
Of course, Asus didn’t make any sacrifices for the form factor, with the base model offering the following specs:
- Display: 2x 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED HDR 2,880 x 1,800 pixel 120Hz panels
- Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9 386H
- Memory: 32GB LPDDR5X
- Storage: 1TB SSD
- Dimensions: 35.5 x 24.7 x 1.99 ~ 2.49 cm
- Weight: 2.82kg
- Camera: 1080p IR camera with Windows Hello
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Battery: 90Wh
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6

The above covers the base model, which retails for $5,499 in Canada. However, there are other configuration options available, including one with an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU that costs an eye-watering $8,999.
At the time of writing, the ROG Zephyrus Duo was listed on the Asus eStore as well as at Best Buy Canada, though both retailers had limited stock, or none at all.
