There a couple new Canadian specific iPhone apps that have become officially available today: ecobee Smart Thermostat & SIRIUS Canada.
First up is the ecobee Smart Thermostat. This is a free app allows you to adjust their homes’ climate control settings anytime from anywhere. The features give you the flexibility to remotely adjust your thermostat’s temperature, schedule or update a vacation event, change the system and/or fan operating settings and receive alerts.
Next is SIRIUS Canada app that gives out a free 14-day trial with the option to subscribe after. The app gives you access to SIRIUS Satellite Radio’s news, sports, entertainment and commercial-free music content on their device. The SIRIUS App also allows users to purchase a song heard on SIRIUS while it is being played or “Tag” favourite songs for later purchase from the iTunes Store and see the current channel plus find out what’s playing on other channels
