Regional-carrier MTS has fulfilled its promise of bringing LTE (Long Term Evolution) speeds to additional markets this year. The company previously declared that by the end of 2013 they would expand past Winnipeg and Brandon and go live with LTE in another 6 locations.
MTS’s LTE network is now blazing in 8 locations: Winnipeg, Brandon, Victoria Beach, Grand Beach, Portage la Prairie, Selkirk, Steinbach and now Ste. Anne.
Kelvin Shepherd, President of MTS, said “MTS committed to connecting six more Manitoba communities to its 4G LTE wireless network before the end of 2013, and with the addition of Ste. Anne, we completed our goal. More than 800,000 Manitobans now have access to blazing-fast LTE wireless coverage from MTS.”
