Apple revealed its latest smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 10, at its fall iPhone 16 event.

Notably, the Series 10 has the biggest Apple Watch display to date, even larger than the Ultra 2, as well as its thinnest-ever design at just 9.7mm (30 percent thinner than last year’s Series 9).

What’s more, the Series 10 features Apple’s first-ever wide-angle OLED display. It’s also up to 40 percent brighter when viewed at any angle and can play music directly from the watch — no AirPods required. For even more convenience, Apple says this is its fastest-charging Apple Watch to date, allowing you to reach up to an 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes. New neural network also tech suppresses background noise.

Apple Watch Series 10 features

In terms of the actual build of the watch, Apple says the Series 10 was made out of titanium rather than stainless steel, which it says makes this its latest carbon-neutral product.

Of course, health and wellness is an important part of the Apple Watch, and this year, Apple is pushing new sleep apnea-related features. Using the accelerometer, the Apple Watch will analyze your breathing disturbance data every 30 days and will warn you about possible symptoms of sleep apnea. Apple says it expects federal approval for the feature soon ahead of a planned launch in over 150 countries on Apple Watch Series 10, as well as Series 9 and Ultra 2 models.

Apple is also giving the Series 10 a special ‘Jet Black’ model featuring its “first-ever polished aluminum finish.” It will also be offered in ‘Rose Gold’ and ‘Silver Aluminum’ variants.

Apple Watch Series 10 launches on September 20th, starting at $549 CAD for Aluminum and $999 for Titanium. Pre-orders are now live on the Apple Store.

The Watch Ultra 2 starts at $1099 and launches on September 20th. Pre-orders are live on the Apple Store.

Finally, a new Hermès model, which all the features of Series 10 plus built-in GPS + Cellular connectivity, will also drop on the 20th, starting at $1,699. Pre-orders are live on the Apple Store.
