SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry goes beta 12/30

If you enjoy watching TV on your mobile device then this is a great gift for you… but you will have to wait a few more days. Sling Media is releasing a public beta of SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry that will be available for download on December 30th.

The beta is only available for Slingbox customers in the U.S., Canada and the UK.  So what this means is that you can now watch streamed video from your SlingBox (about $200) over a 3G or WiFi connection. Your meetings at work will never be the same!

This will be availale in Canada on the following Rogers BlackBerry devices: BlackBerry Bold, the Curve 8900, 8820, Curve 8320, Pearl Flip 8220 and the BlackBerry Pearl 8120. Your Berry must be running a 4.5 OS or greater and if you’re unsure if your device is compatible here’s a link to check.
