Virgin Mobile is on a rampage with their stores lately, gone are some of the old kiosks and resurrected in its place are new upscale, well designed layouts. Montreal and Toronto have one and now Halifax has their first flagship store. This new store is located in Halifax’s Mic Mac Mall and gives members a “full-on experience” where they can try out the latest devices (smartphones and tablets).
There is even better news for those in the East Coast. The press release said that “For a limited time, Virgin Mobile is also offering a special deal of $100 off to Members who activate a smartphone in store, like the new Samsung Galaxy S II 4G that launched today”… this basically will drop the Galaxy S II to $69.99 on a 3-year.
Update: Virgin sent us a note that the press release was incorrect. “Wanted to flag for you a correction that we made to this morning’s release about the new Halifax flagship store. We are doing a special offer off of select smartphones, however there was an error in the original release that said this offer included the Galaxy S II 4G. Unfortunately, the range of smartphones eligible for this offer does not include the Galaxy S II 4G. The $100 off offer does, however, apply to some of our other awesome phones like the HTC Incredible S 4G and the BlackBerry Torch 9800. Full details on the special offer are available in store.”
