Microsoft’s Slack competitor Teams is set to launch next week

Microsoft Teams

Teams, Microsoft’s Slack competitor, is set to be available to Office 365 customers next week. The tech giant is planning a March 14th launch event to kick off the collaboration platform’s official release around the world.

The company originally revealed Teams back in early November as an alternative to Slack with different features and deep Office integration.

Microsoft’s launch event is set to kick off at 8:30am P.T./11:30am E.T. on March 14th, where the company is expected to reveal the platform’s final set of features.

While Microsoft has already showed off many of Teams’ features, the company has yet to reveal third-party app support for the platform, one of Slack’s most versatile and useful features.

We’ll have more on Teams leading into the platform’s launch on March 14th.
