Google might add a ‘Restart’ button to Android with its forthcoming Pixel phones

After a long time coming —  eight years to be exact — Android may finally be adding a ‘Restart’ option to its power menu, according to noted leak publication Android Police.

The site published a photo of the button, stating that it’s exceedingly confident of its authenticity.

The button will purportedly arrive with the upcoming Pixel devices, which are expected to run Android 7.1 out of the box.

While the addition is a welcome change for many stock Android users, there is a chance that it could be removed before the software officially releases.
