HoFo member “drewlsvern” was curious last week about when MTS would join the game and add an Android device to their lineup. A reply was sent back from his requested that stated:
“Thank you for the email. MTS is in discussions with several manufacturers of Android devices however nothing has been decided yet. The goal is to have a device in market in Spring 2010. Please continue to check with us periodically.”
No word on what the devices will be but MTS is building out their new HSPA network with Rogers. Whatever the device will be let’s hope it has an updated OS, something greater than 1.5.
