BlackBerry Leap coming soon to Canada

BlackBerry Leap

BlackBerry announced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Leap, at Mobile World Congress last month. This is a successor to the BlackBerry Z10 and features an all-touch 5-inch 1280×720 pixel LCD display. The Leap is targeted to “young mobile professionals” and BlackBerry has also embedded an ample amount of security features within the device, such as its reputable email encryption, BBM Protected, and built-in malware protection.

BlackBerry said at the time the Leap will be available in April for $275 (USD) in select markets and the company has started to accept pre-orders on its e-commerce site ShopBlackBerry to those in the United States, United Kingdon, France, and Germany. Canadians are not out of luck, though, as BlackBerry notes we should “Stay tuned” for details on Leap pre-sales.
