Latest Evernote for Android beta adds business card scanning support

The latest Evernote for Android beta has added a new feature lots of people have been waiting for: business card scanning.

Earlier this year, the note-taking and life-organizing company added business card scanning, in conjunction with LinkedIn, to its iOS app. The Android app already had the capability of digitizing papers and making Post-It notes searchable, but business card scanning, with parses the information into an editable, saveable phone contact, was a glaring omission.

The company is still testing the feature, and will likely roll it out to the production version soon, but for now accessing it is as easy as signing up for the Evernote beta.
