Nothing’s Ear (3a) is now available in Canada. The new budget earbuds are available for $149.99, and come in white, black, yellow and pink.
The Ear 3a has 32MB of built-in storage so you can capture audio directly through the earbuds. Do this by pinching both earbuds, and it’ll trigger the earbuds’ Audio Snapshot feature.
The Ear 3a also has its own Call recording function, which lets you start recording a call without pulling out your phone. It works by using a gesture to start recording the call for up to two hours, and then the recordings are automatically synced to the Nothing X app.
The Nothing Ear 3a also supports Hi-Res Audio and Wideband Active Noise Cancellation. Nothing says that its Ear 3a has better noise cancellation coverage thanks to its acoustic mesh and ANC algorithm. The Ear 3a also offers up to 42 hours of playback with the charging case and up to 10 hours on the earbuds without ANC enabled.
Using the Nothing Ear 3a with the Nothing X app lets you tune your EQ, share your listening profile, Find My Earbuds and is how you update the earbuds.
