Bell has announced 5G+ Advanced, the company’s fastest network yet, which the telecom says will pave the way for 6G. Bell’s 5G+ Advanced delivers lower latency and sports theoretical speeds that can reach 4.3Gbps.
Bell says that its 5G+ Advanced network is already live across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, but the carrier is also expanding coverage to Niagara.
Here’s a complete list of communities where 5G+ Advanced is available:
Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Markham, Vaughan, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Burlington, Oshawa, Whitby, St. Catharines, Milton, Ajax, Pickering, Grimsby, Thorold and Niagara Falls.
This technology is only available on certain devices; here’s the list below:

Interestingly, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series isn’t on this list of devices.
Bell recently rolled out its 3,800MHz spectrum at the end of December, which delivered speeds up to 3.64Gbps; so it’s impressive that the company has already upped its game.
And a recent Ookla Speedtest results from data collected from July to December revealed that Bell already was outpacing its rivals in mobile network speeds. However, another report from Opensignal showed network performance from the Big Three was very similar, calling it a “statistical dead heat.”
The news comes in the wake of Bell being criticized for laying off many employees over the past few years, most recently in November, 2025. In February 2024, Bell cut 4,800 jobs under a restructuring plan. Earlier in 2025, Bell offered a voluntary separation to 1,200 union workers
