Rogers has launched the next installment of the “This Is Our Game” campaign, announcing The Great Canadian Jersey.
To summarize it, The Great Canadian Jersey invites Canadians to donate their old hockey jerseys. From there, pieces of each jersey will be taken and stitched together to create unique hockey jerseys that Rogers says are, “representing all facets of the sport and our country’s deep history within the game.” The jerseys are being designed by former Ontario Hockey League (OHL) defenseman Cameron Lizotte.
The drive is being kick-started by Team Rogers athletes Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers and Marie-Philip Poulin of the PWHL‘s Montreal Victoire. Both athletes are donating a jersey from their personal collections, and the two jerseys will be collected in person in both Montreal and Edmonton.
From today, Jan. 5, until Jan. 15, Canadians can drop off jerseys at participating Rogers stores across Canada. All Canadians who donate a jersey will be entered for a chance to win the Ultimate VIP Hockey Road Trip to any Canadian National Hockey League team’s away game during the ongoing 2025-2026 NHL season.
The final jerseys will be revealed later this month and featured as part of a national ad campaign. You can visit Rogers.com/TheGreatCanadianJersey for participating locations and mail-in information if you are unable to donate in person.
