Public Mobile ups data again, offers $40/100GB, $50/150GB plans

Public Mobile has further increased the data on some of its plans with a new Boxing Week Exclusive promotion.

Last week, Public Mobile boosted data on its top two plans to match Freedom Mobile’s recently released Boxing Week deals for its 5G+ Canada/U.S./Mexico roaming plans. Now, similar to what other carriers have done, Public has rebranded the plans as part of Boxing Week and added extra data.

Here are Public’s plans:

• $50/150GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico (previously $50/100GB)
• $40/100GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico (previously $40/70GB)
• $35/20GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico (previously $35/10GB)
• $30/8GB 5G Canada-wide (Unchanged)
• $25/4GB 4G Canada-wide (Unchanged)
• $20/1GB 4G Canada-wide (Unchanged)

The Telus-owned carrier hasn’t listed an end date for these Boxing Week deals; however, “These deals won’t last forever,” according to its website. These deals typically end in early January, so I would consider signing up now, given the holidays this week and January right around the corner.

Notably, Public isn’t the only provider offering $40/100GB and $50/150GB plans. Freedom just rolled out a new Boxing Week promo offering a $9/mo discount on several bring-your-own-phone plans, bringing some prices down to $40/100GB and $50/150GB just like Public.
