Wondering what to watch on streaming?

After being targeted by an extortion plot, a famous Hollywood actor goes on a redemption tour to avoid getting cancelled.
Outcome was co-written and directed by Jonah Hill (Mid ’90s) and stars Toronto’s Keanu Reeves (The Matrix series), Hill, Cameron Diaz (There’s Something About Mary) and Matt Bomer (Magic Mike).

Euphoria (Season 3)

Hacks (Season 5)

A married couple grapples with power imbalances after a technological accident shrinks the wife to six inches tall.
Based on a short story by Manuel Gonzalez, The Miniature Wife was created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire) and stars Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock), Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Zoe Lister-Jones (Life in Pieces).

Based on Parron’s memoir Outstanding in the Field, Out Standing was co-written and directed by Quebec’s Mélanie Charbonneau (Fabulous) and stars Vancouver’s Nina Kiri (Undertone), Trois-Rivières, Que.’s Vincent Leclerc (Les Pays d’en haut), Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Que.’s Antoine Pilon (Nouvelle Addresse) and Toronto’s Enrico Colantoni (Flashpoint). The film was shot in Montreal and Hamilton, Ont.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair [Hulu Original]

Nearly 20 years after the events of the original series, Malcolm, his daughter and his girlfriend get dragged back into his family’s chaos when his parents demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.
Life’s Still Unfair hails from original Malcolm in the Middle creator, Vancouver-born Linwood Boomer, and features returning stars Frankie Muniz (Malcolm), Bryan Cranston (Hal), Jane Kaczmarek (Lois), Justin Berfield (Reese) and Christopher Masterson (Francis), as well as series newcomers Keeley Karsten (The Fabelmans) and Mississauga, Ont.’s Kiana Madeira (Fear Street trilogy). It’s worth noting that the reboot was filmed in Vancouver.

Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord [Disney+ Original]

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Maul plots to rebuild his criminal syndicate and crosses paths with a disillusioned former Padawan.
Maul — Shadow Lord was created by Dave Filoni (The Clone Wars) and features Sam Witwer reprising his long-running role of Maul, while Gideon Adlon (Shape Island), Wagner Moura (Narcos), and Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) make up the supporting cast.

The Testaments [Hulu Original]

After the events of The Handmaid’s Tale, teens Agnes and Daisy must navigate Aunt Lydia’s harsh preparatory school for future wives.
Based on Canadian author Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name, The Testaments was created by Bruce Miller (The Handmaid’s Tale TV series) and features an ensemble cast that includes Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), Lucy Halliday (Blue Moon), Ann Dowd (reprising the role of Aunt Lydia from The Handmaid’s Tale), Rowan Blanchard (Snowpiercer) and Montreal’s Zarrin Darnell-Martin (Ginny & Georgia). It’s worth noting that the series was filmed in Toronto, just like The Handmaid’s Tale.
