Want to see the stars from your car? Tesla is now producing a variant of its Model S vehicle with a fully glass roof.
The option adds $2,000 CAD to the overall price of the car. That brings a lower-end Model S with a 60 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive sans any upgrades to $88,000 outright. The option is less expensive than a sunroof, which adds $2,600.
There are downsides, however. The glass roofed Model S is not compatible with roof racks or satellite radio. Still, the upgrade will likely be worth it to many for the futuristic look alone.
