It appears Google is intent on giving back to some of its most vocal and supportive fans by sending them invites to its forthcoming October 4th event in San Francisco.
Both Phandroid and Stephen Hall of 9to5Google have shared a message sent to some of their readers via Twitter direct message that states: “We love that you love Google, and on October 4th we’re going to introduce something new for you to love (youtu.be/aNnCtmyujLA) at a private event in San Francisco. We’d be honored to have you as our guest. If you’re interested in joining us, please respond to this note and confirm your email address. We’ll then send over the full details.”

The event, which has in the past been reserved just for press, is expected to see the debut of the forthcoming Pixel devices, a new 4K-capable Chromecast and a slew of other devices.
Invitations appear to be limited to U.S. residents. However, we’ve reached out to Google to find if it has invited any Canadian Android fanatics.
Whatever the case, the fact that Google is opening up the event to fans suggests the company has something special planned for the 4th.
