Happymagenta announces retro turn-based adventure game Into The Dim

Into The Dim

Are you a fan of “roguelikes” – games that feature randomly generated worlds – and retro looking mobile titles? Then Happymagenta’s Into The Dim is probably the game for you.

In stark contrast to the studio’s other fast-paced arcade-focused games like Downhill Riders and Cube Koala, Into The Dim is a significantly slower title with a focus on turn-based combat.

In Into The Dim the player navigates a boy and his dog through dungeons that seem to have a lot in common, at least aesthetically, with The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the original GameBoy.

Managing health, bullets, medkits and gold is also essential to success. We’ll have a full review of Into the Dim on our site at some point in the coming weeks.

Into The Dim is available on iOS but hasn’t launched in Canada yet. According to Happymagneta the game is set to launch on the Canadian App Store on December 16th.
