Gmail users on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus no longer have to suffer through the zoomed-in pixellated mess that is Apple’s upscaling experience on iOS 7-optimized apps.
Google has begun updating its suite of apps this week, beginning with Gmail and Drive, two of the company’s most-used apps. While the experience may not be overwhelmingly different on the iPhone 6, which shares a 326ppi pixel density with the iPhone 4-5s, the added screen real estate will be very much appreciated on the iPhone 6 Plus, which is not only higher-resolution but significantly more pixel dense.
