Right on schedule is BlackBerry with the release of their Secure Work Space for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. This move extends their position in the services business and allows IT admins to gain control of the BYOD (Bring Your Own device) revolution. IT admins will have full access to securely manage employee devices – such as corporate email, contacts, calendar, tasks, viewing/editing docks, and web browsing – but will need BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 to make it all work. BlackBerry has a free 60-day trial to those who want to give it a go.
