A purported leak of the Galaxy Note 2 front glass is making its rounds today, showing off a 5.5-inch display at a 16:9 resolution. This means that instead of a 1280×800 resolution of the original Note, we’re looking at a 1280×720 or equivalent, something that Samsung is unlikely to do. This means that the Galaxy Note 2 could have a resolution of 1920×1080, or 1080p, but again, that’s unlikely. This leaves me to believe the leak is fake, but hey, stranger things have happened.
If the leak turns out to be real, though, we’re looking at a front panel fairly similar to that of the original, though slightly more squared around the corners. We know that Samsung will be announcing the real Galaxy Note 2 on August 29th, so stay tuned for that.
