Huawei is on the verge of releasing its first quad-core tablet, the MediaPad 10 FHD, a 10.1-inch Full HD slate with some impressive specs.
The tablet was initially announced in February at Mobile World Congress and had a Q2 release date, but it has since been pushed back. Huawei now claims to be releasing the tablet in August, likely for the back-to-school rush.
With a 10.1-inch 1920×1080 resolution IPS display, 2GB RAM, Huawei’s self-designed K3V2 quad-core chip, an 8MP back camera with dual-LED flash and unsullied Android 4.0, the tablet is pretty impressive from a specs perspective.
We have no word on whether the MediaPad is coming to Canada, but with Huawei’s recent push into North America with its Ascend P1 smartphone, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it on store shelves this fall.
Check after the break for video preview of the MediaPad 10 FHD.
